Admission Guidline

At Ummeed World School, we follow a transparent and child-friendly admission process aligned with CBSE norms. Our goal is to ensure fair, equal, and merit-based admissions for all applicants.

1. Admission Eligibility

Pre-Primary (Nursery, LKG, UKG)
  • Minimum age as per the academic year norms.
  • No formal test is conducted; interaction with the child and parents is required.
Classes 1 to 8
  • Admission is based on:
  • Age criteria
  • Interaction/assessment (only for understanding learning levels, not for rejection)

2. Age Criteria (Recommended by CBSE)

Class 1 6+ years as of 31st March
Class 2 7+ years as of 31st March
Class 3 8+ years as of 31st March

Class 5 10+ years as of 31st March
Class 6 11+ years as of 31st March
Class 7 12+ years as of 31st March
Class 8 13+ years as of 31st March

3. Admission Process

Step 1: Registration
  • Fill out the Admission Registration Form (online or at the school office).
  • Submit the required registration fee (non-refundable).
Step 2: Interaction / Assessment
  • Pre-Primary: Play-based interaction with the child.
  • Primary & Middle Classes: Basic assessment in English, Math & EVS (only to understand the child's level).
  • Secondary & Senior Secondary: Written assessment + short interview (as per CBSE norms).
Step 3: Document Submission
  • Submit the required documents, including birth certificate
  • Previous school records (if applicable)
  • Aadhar Card of the child & parents
  • Passport size photographs
  • Address proof (ration card / electricity bill / rent agreement / Aadhar)
  • Transfer Certificate (for Class 2 and above)
Step 4: Fee Structure & Payment Policy
  • Fee schedule will be provided at the time of admission.
  • Fees must be paid on or before the due date.
  • Late fee may be applicable as per school rules.
  • Admission fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
5. General Conditions (CBSE Compliant)
  • Admission is subject to availability of seats.
  • The school reserves the right to refuse admission without assigning any reason.
  • All admissions are provisional until the submission of all required documents.
  • Parents/guardians must agree to abide by the school's rules and regulations.
  • Regular attendance and participation in school activities are mandatory for all students.
6. Withdrawal & Cancellation Policy
  • Parents must give a written application for withdrawal.
  • Transfer Certificate will be issued only after clearing all dues.
  • Fees already paid (including admission fee) are non-refundable.
